Aysha Weekley is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Weekley Connection, where she helps build intentional spaces for honest dialogue, inclusive leadership, and real community impact.
Born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, Aysha brings a grounded, no-frills approach to leadership and coaching that has been shaped by lived experience, deep listening, and a commitment to equity that’s practical, personal, and rooted in real life. Her guiding philosophy, “I am HERE because I have been THERE,” speaks to her approach: direct, empathetic, and deeply aware ofwhat it means to lead through both challenge and change.
In addition to her work at Weekley Connection, Aysha runs a small but mighty business called Seasoned Scholars, which supports nontraditional college students; students who are 25 and older, parenting, returning to school later in life, or juggling multiple roles. Through blog posts, virtual workshops, and community programming, she’s helping these students feel empowered, visible, and redefined on their own terms. Aysha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and is currently preparing for the LSAT as part of her evolving work around advocacy and systemic change. At Weekley Connection, she leads operations, content strategy, and program design with clarity and care, always aiming to make space where people feel seen, heard, and fully human.
At home, Aysha shares life with her wife, Gina, whose sharp ideas and generous nudges helped shape Weekley Connection from the beginning and their puppyson, Rajah. Their daughter, Aaliyah is away at college creating her own path for the future. But between family, study, and community work, Aysha is constantly navigating the spaces between responsibility and rest, purpose and presence — and learning to lead from the middle of it all.
